Here is a list of  Community Activities held in our Church Centre

Art Group
Thursday 9.30 - 11.30am or 2.00 – 4.00pm.
We currently have two enthusiastic art groups.  We tackle and explore various mediums including watercolour, pastels, gouache and mixed media.  Everyone enjoys a relaxed friendly and rewarding learning experience headed by Jenny Garner.

DN Dance Babies
Monday 9:30-10:00 Ages 6-12 months
Monday 10:05-10:40 Ages 12-20 months
Monday 10:45-11:25 Ages 20-36 months
Dance classes designed specially for little ones from 6 months to 3 years.

Edinburgh International Folk Dance Group
Monday 7.30 - 9.30pm
This is an opportunity to learn and enjoy dances from Europe and the rest of the World.  We meet
on Monday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.  Wear comfortable clothing and footwear.  Visitors are welcome: 3 per night.  Further details call 0131 538 1093

Karate Classes
Thursday 4.30 – 5.30pm Ages 6-12
Thursday 5.30 – 6.30pm Ages 13+ and adults
Shotokan Karate Classes are: Fun and Challenging; Good Value and affordable.  Keep Fit whilst learning self defence. Improves balance, flexibility and posture.  Helps with concentration.  Regular gradings.  Opportunities to train and compete around the world.

Meadows Chamber Orchestra (Inverleith St Serf's Church)
For 40 years the Meadows Chamber Orchestra has performed regularly and with critical acclaim to audiences in Edinburgh and beyond.  Inverleith St Serf's church is one of the venues used for rehearsals and concerts. Further details can be found athttp://www.meadowsorchestra.org.uk

New Edinburgh Orchestra (Inverleith St Serf's Church)

The New Edinburgh Orchestra

St Serf's Players
St Serf's Players have been in existence since February 1948. The players are always looking for people who are willing to act in our performances as well as those willing to help build sets or work backstage with props and costume making.  For more information please go to www.stserfsplayers.org.uk

for people with dementia and their carers
(First and third Thursdays of each month 2.30pm – 4pm)
Singing is greatly beneficial  to people with dementia, due to the” feel good factor” it evokes. The group meets for tea and a chat prior to the singing session. We sing well known songs from show-stoppers to Scottish ballads and from music hall to member’s requests.

Tai Chi
Tuesday 7.00 – 8.30pm Adults Tai Chi class - beginners welcome
We practice Lee Style Tai Chi.  This involves breathing exercises, adhering hand, meditation, Tai Chi form and progress to Tai Chi Dance, Stick, Silk and Sword over time.
Our emphasis is learning through enjoyment and relaxation.

Trinity Community Council

Trinity Community Council meets on the second Monday of the month from September to June at 7pm. It is composed of members of the public with an interest in the area who seek to influence decisions on behalf of the community. Local issues are discussed and members of the public are welcome to come along and observe proceedings and make contributions at the chairman’s discretion.    

U3A Scottish Country Dancing
Tuesdays 10.30 - 12:00 (alternate weeks, October to May)
Edinburgh U3A classes for Scottish Country Dancing.

Zumba Dance
Mondays 6.00 - 7.00pm
A class for those who want to keep fit through dance.
