We are a FAIRTRADE CHURCH
Inverleith St Serf's Church and its fairtrade stall are double award winners of the Edinburgh Lord Provost Fair Trade Awards. We won the Faith Community and Achievement Awards for 2015.
The fairtrade stall runs twice a month (11.30am, immediately after the 10.30am Church Service.) You’ll find a wide range of Traidcraft items, from everyday staples and household items to treats, cards, gifts and seasonal items. We aim to have a new product on the stall every fortnight.
Check the following sources for up to date information on stall dates:

The fairtrade stall has close links with Tenants and Residents in Muirhouse (TRIM.) You can bring food and other donations to the stall and we will take these to TRIM for their community shop and food bank.
Help us to support third world fairtrade producers and families in our neighbouring community Muirhouse.
Fresh Start is an Edinburgh based charity that helps people who have been homeless get established in their new home. Visit the website for further information http://www.freshstartweb.org.uk/
Donations for Fresh Start are uplifted every two weeks from the Church Hall.
The Congregation plays a full part in the fundraising efforts for Christian Aid.

CHURCH OVERSEAS PROJECT
The Congregation chooses an overseas project to support financially for a 3 year period. From 2011-2014 the overseas project was ‘Friends of Chogoria Hospital' in Kenya. The money raised allowed the hospital to purchase much needed equipment.
Our current overseas project is ‘Al Shurooq School for Blind Children,’ in Bethlehem. This project will run until 2017. You can find more details here.
Inverleith St Serf's is twinned with the Church of the Evangelical Brethern.
