26 people, including 8 children, were at the Early Bird Christmas service on Sunday 21 December. They watched a video from New Zealand which explains God’s plans for an unexpected Christmas. The children made Christmas crafts – including gingerbread men – which were most definitely, your reporter was told, not wise men.
At the 10.30 service the fourth candle was lit on the Advent ring, the choir sang three carols and the congregation (numbering nearly 90) listened to thoughtful and thought
-provoking readings from the Rev Matthew Bicket, our current locum.
