About us

Worship at Inverleith St Serf's

Everyone is welcome at the Sunday services we hold here:

Sunday Morning Service

A weekly service in our church at 10.30am which is fairly traditional in style and inclusive and welcoming in its theology.  A creche is open for younger children with a carer.

Monthly Early Birds Service

A monthly informal all-age service, particularly enjoyed by families, called Early Birds, at 9.30am in our bright and sunny hall (usually on the third Sunday of the month). Come in by the Clark Road entrance.

Both services are followed by refreshments.

Monthly Pram Service

There is also a monthly Pram Service (first Monday of the month during termtime) for children under 5 and their carers.  There are stories, songs and activities – with refreshments for all. Come in by the Clark Road entrance.

Communion

Our Communion services are on the last Sundays of January, June and October plus Easter Day.

Midweek services

A short reflective afternoon  service (sometimes with communion)  is on the third Wednesday of every month at 2pm, followed by refreshments. Come in by the Clark Road entrance.

Flowers in Church

On most Sundays we decorate our sanctuary with fresh flowers. The flowers are usually donated by people wishing to mark an anniversary or in memory of a loved one . After the service the flowers are delivered to members who are ill or bereaved or celebrating a special birthday or event.

Working towards Union

We are currently working towards union with Granton Parish Church, under the Edinburgh and West Lothian Presbytery Plan.
