There is a range of support for local and worldwide needs.
Our Prayer Circle underpins all the work of the congregation.
A dedicated team ensures that someone is praying for an aspect of the congregation’s life and the work of the wider Church each day through each month.
We keep our website and our Facebook page up to date to publicise our services and events and use our prominent position for banners and notice boards for passersby.
The Communications group works with other local churches to share events.
Reflections are posted weekly on both website and Facebook.
There are opportunities for all to meet together at different times, for fellowship, for learning, for growing.

Coffee and tea after each Sunday service
The monthly Coffee House
The monthly Nostalgia Cafe
The Guild, open to all and meeting through the winter, enjoys talks, fellowship and shares in worship.
The Toddler Group, weekly during term time, offering 
a safe and interesting place for youngsters (0 to 3 years) to play and for parents and carers to meet and share. Refreshments are available.
The Pram Service is held on the first Monday of the month during term time. A short time of bible story, song and craft work for children and their carers with refreshments.
Early Birds is a monthly, informal all-age Sunday service.
The Book Group meets for discussion on Fridays.
There are a variety of additional events hosted by the Eco group through the year.
Sunday Evening talks by lecturers from New College three times a year are advertised widely across Edinburgh.
There is a Prayer Circle and a weekly online Prayer Diary to support the members, the work in the congregation and in the wider world.
The Pastoral Care group maintains contact with those needing additional support and oversees the monthly Midweek Services and the Nostalgia Cafe.
Our nominated Church Charity from 2024 to 2026 is based in Edinburgh. It is the Thistle Foundation (focusing on their work in health and wellbeing).
Other charities supported through the year are:-
a weekly collection of goods for Granton foodbank run under the auspices of Edinburgh City Mission which is based at Granton Baptist Church,
a monthly collection of goods for Fresh Start,
there are special collections for organisations such as Christian Aid, Macmillan Cancer Care, Poppy Scotland who all benefit from our support.
We also react quickly to any major emergencies across the world.
And, at the start of Advent there is a special collection of Christmas parcels for children and young people for the Pilton Circle of Care

The Eco Group works to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth, encouraging and developing our understanding of the issues through talks and other events and supporting groups in vulnerable parts of the world.
In 2025 the congregation attained a Bronze award from Eco-congregation Scotland.
The Garden Group looks after our Church grounds to create a peaceful space for anyone to enjoy.
