Worship: (Christian community and worship for all ages)

  • Traditional Sunday 10.30am worship.
  • Pram service; Monday mornings monthly during term time.
  • Early Birds; monthly at 9.30am.
  • Mid-week, day-time short worship service with Communion, monthly. Special invites to those unable to get to Sunday Worship regularly. Service followed by tea/coffee and chat.
  • Annual Bereavement Service at start of Advent.
  • World Day of Prayer: yearly ecumenical service and hosted by the various local denominations in turn.

Discipleship: (helping people grow at every stage of their faith journey)

  • Friday Book Group; open to all.
  • Holy Week services – shared by local denominations.
  • Guild; open to all – fortnightly with talks on a variety of subjects and fellowship.
  • Open Facebook presence with contributions from a variety of people including weekly reflections and intimations.
  • Eco Group – working on a variety of projects in our own premises and supporting work across the world.

Fellowship and Service (Engaged in the local community and more widely)

  • coffee/tea after Sunday worship.
  • monthly Coffee House – drop in for coffee and chat.
  • monthly Nostalgia Café – a place of fellowship and caring with special emphasis on memories and music.

There is a range of support for local and world wide needs.

  • Toddlers group. Weekly during term time offering a safe and interesting place for youngsters (0 – 3 years) to play and for parents and carers to meet and share. Refreshments offered.
  • Weekly collections of goods for Granton foodbank.  This is run under the auspices of Edinburgh City Mission and is based at Granton Baptist
  • Monthly collection of household goods for Fresh Start.
  • Charity collections.  We support Christian Aid, MacMillan Cancer, Poppy Scotland and the Thistle Foundation. We react quickly to any major emergencies such as the floods in Pakistan and the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
  • Pilton Circle of Care – special children’s Christmas parcel collection at the start of Advent.
