A large congregation – including Pram Service and Early Birds families – celebrated Christ’s resurrection on Easter morning.
The families with young children enjoyed an Easter egg hunt round the church for painted eggs illustrating Christ’s journey from Palm Sunday to Easter morning. They then left for the small hall for further Easter activities and refreshments.
Meanwhile the remaining congregation celebrated the sacrament of Holy Communion with joy and thanksgiving.
Flowers, usually white on Communion Sundays, were bright and cheerful to mark Easter as a celebration. Alison Gainey had arranged the flowers which are pictured here with the communion table and pulpit dressed for Easter.
