Dusk to Dawn – our Sunday theme.

When navigating profound transitions and the collapse of familiar structures, it is easy to mistake the shifting landscape for the end of things—a terrifying dusk. However, what looks like ruin is actually the necessary clearing of the ground before dawn breaks. Because exhaustion blurs our vision, we must seek a “quiet resting place” in God to regain our bearings and recognize that the world is turning toward renewal, not destruction.
As we read in Isaiah 41: vs 17-20, we will not be forsaken in the barren wilderness but God will provide rivers and springs of water to turn the dry land into a fertile garden where trees will grow.
God uses our seasons of transition not so we can build fortresses to hide from a weary world, but so we can cultivate spaces of grace and provision. We are called to be a spring of solace for others making the hard journey, trusting that out of this quiet obedience, new life will burst forth.
