As we continue on our journey towards Lent we reflect on these photos of the way.
We travel on smooth, level paths,
through interesting and peaceful places,
where the sunlight shows the way ahead
and there are no rocks to trip us up.
All is well.
Then our journey can change to dusty, twisty roads, 
through difficult terrain
with no end in sight,
no help at hand.
We seem to be on our own, struggling.
But we have a strong helper beside us all the way, ready to bring us home safely when we need help.
