For people of my generation and many others, one of the first hymns we learnt at school and Sunday school along with Away in a Manger at Christmas was All Things Bright and Beautiful.
Over the last few weeks we have looked at many things that are bright and beautiful.
All things bright and beautiful,
all creatures great and small,
all things wise and wonderful
the Lord God made them all.
So this week a few pictures to remind us just how varied are the animals around us. Some domesticated, some very wild, some large and some small.
If you enjoy the David Attenborough programmes you will know how many wonderful creatures there are across the world for us to marvel at.
We depend on them in our lives and they depend on how we live our lives for their good health and survival. We are all God’s creatures whether great or small.
May we include all living creatures in our concerns for our community, country and the world.
