This week our reflection theme is birds.
There are 8 photos
This week we start our reflection with a picture of the striking preaching stole which was worn last Sunday by our visitor, the Rev David Coleman, Environmental Chaplain to Eco Congregation Scotland;

now a favourite bird for many here in Scotland because we associate it so much with Christmas and also, as David told us on Sunday, St. Serf had a pet robin; according to legend it was killed but Mungo, then a pupil of St Serf restored it to life; one of the reasons he was later to become St Mungo.

now some photos of birds for us to marvel at the variety of size, colour and form, each adapted to its environment;

and this prayer to sum up our reflections for the last few weeks.

As our call to worship said,
“In the beginning God created all things,
and God saw that they were good.
Let us open our eyes to see God’s presence,
let us open our souls to sense God’s presence
and let us open our hearts to love God’s presence.”
